I have been taking my Chausson motorhome to River Motorhomes for about 6 years. This was after unresolved after sales issues with the dealership I bought the motorhome from. River Motorhomes was recommended by a Chausson owners Facebook group. From my first phone call I felt that my custom was valued, and they have looked after me and my van’s needs since then. I travel the 250 miles round trip for habitation service, sometimes engine service and all warranty work - and it is well worth the drive to get the work done - and the work is done in a fair and reasonable time. They don’t leave you hanging around for weeks on end! I cannot recommend Steve and the team at River Motorhomes highly enough. Keep up the great work River Motorhomes - and thank you! ~ HUW B

This is our fourth brand new Motorhome , have also over the years purchased many new cars River Motorhomes is by far the best customer experience ! Nothing absolutely nothing is too much trouble. John ,his wife Michelle , their amazing team Laura , Chris ,Andy couldn’t do more to answer all our queries. They are not a high pressure dealership , but allow you to have time to consider the information . If they promise to “ come back to you with a reply “ they keep their word. Offer very competitive deals on part exchange / and the vehicle your purchasing . I thought this very high level of customer service had disappeared , it hasn’t. , it’s a live and well . A massive massive thank you to River Motorhomes for the excellent work they completed in repairing our habitation door that was extensively damaged when we hit a tree log!! It was a big job and needed lot’s of new parts to be able to make the new door perfect. We all had to be patient in waiting for the new parts and I know the River team were just as frustrated as us at the long lead times from France. However, we got there in the end. The workshop team have been amazing and must be very skilful to be able to complete what was undoubtedly a big and complicated job. Thank you Steve for keeping us updated and putting up with our worried e mails! We are overjoyed to have our baby back and look forward to being able to get out in her and have some fun. I’ve been using River Motorhoems for over three years now, mainly for work hires within the TV and film industry, as well as the occasional private hire — and they’ve been consistently outstanding. They are always incredibly helpful, flexible, and reliable. The rates are exceptional, especially considering the quality of the vehicles and the level of service provided. Above all, the people make the difference, they're friendly, professional, and nothing ever feels like too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone, whether for professional production use or personal travel. River Motorhomes have been extraordinary in helping me on the way to resolve a situation that I found myself in relating to unprocessed warranty claims not carried out by my original dealer who just walked away from their responsibilities. I was in a desperate situation with no idea of who or where to turn to get my motorhome repaired. From first contacting Amy Goldstone at River Motorhomes I was immediately impressed with her "can do" and "will do" attitude even though my problems were not of RMH doing or responsibility. I have now been told that RMH have been given the authorisation by the motorhome manufacturer to complete the outstanding claims as well as correct previous poor quality warranty work that was carried out by my original dealer. I can not praise Amy and RMH enough. If only I had originally purchased my motorhome from River Motorhomes !! ~ David T

Steve made us feel completely at ease, we were greeted with a friendly welcome, we didn’t have an appointment and popped in on the off chance and were able to look at the hiring of a motorhome, he answered all our questions we were able to look around the motorhome at our leisure. This was a complete contrast to a motorhome hire company in Cheltenham we were on the way back from visiting to enquire about hiring a motorhome. We left there feeling deflated and not wanting to consider hiring a motorhome until we drove past river motorhomes in Hereford and saw Steve, thank god we did as we will be booking with them. I recently had my motorhome hab checked and a few jobs done at River Motorhomes the Sutton Coldfield branch and what a fantastic experience it was . Even though I didn’t buy the van from them they were very happy to help. Upon arrival I was welcomed by Kelly with the offer of a drink and was able to wait in their nice waiting room. I wanted to speak to the technician Griff about some problems with my motorhome . He was very professional and knowledgeable and was more than happy to help. The work was carried out to a high standard and felt I was in good hands . Highly recommend great company and great staff ~ Marcus

I've been using River Motorhomes for all my Motorhome repairs for 5 years now so thought it was about time I posted my opinion, My main Contact throughout this time has been Steve Morgan, I cannot praise this guy highly enough, he has bailed me out of trouble so many times, he is always available on WhatsApp, even on a bank holiday he arranged to pick up my Chausson to sort an urgent problem, whenever I visit for habitation checks or repairs he drops me into Stratford upon Avon and picks me up, nothing is to much trouble for this guy and River Motorhomes are very lucky to have such a dedicated guy on their workforce Alan Smith ~ Alan S

My motorhome required its 3rd Hab check and its first MOT. I was able to book a date/time slot that was suitable and timely, and leave it with them the afternoon before so the maintenance team could have it first thing on the planned maintenance day. Everything was completed on time as arranged,. The servicing and a couple of minor issues that the maintenance team found were also rectified and explained and the work carried out to a very good standard. Everyone at River Motorhomes were, as usual, friendly and efficient. It was great customer service and I would certainly recommend them and will definitely use them again. ~ Robert T

Absolutely top of the game river motorhomes are. I purchased my first motorhome from John and he couldn’t be more helpful. Showed me round various models explained all the pros and cons of each model. I finally settled with a kon tiki 649, being a second hand motorhome it had a recall due with fiat, John had the recall done along with a full mot and service before delivering it to my home (with a full tank of fuel, chocolate sand champagne) unreal experience and have made a lifelong friend from it. I recently sold the motorhome with the help of John and purchased another with the help of John. The after sales from river motorhomes is great and Also the hire side of their business is just as good as their sales. I hired a motorhome for my brother in law to tour with us to portugal and it was fully equipped with everything needed. Been involved with many dealers over the years. Some have been ok and some have been absolutely terrible. But I must say I'm very impressed with our buying experience from Dave at River. No pushy sales jargon. Just tells you what's what, nothing more, nothing less. This is quite refreshing really and critically important. Buying a motorhome is stressful and the last thing you want is a business that promises everything and gives you nothing but stress. From the basics of glamping to lush on road living they have such a gorgeous variety of motor homes to suit every need. It’s always a pleasure to go on a River Motorhome holiday with complimentary nibbles, condiments and bubbly to enjoy on our journeys , they think of everything to make every experience a pleasurable one. River Motorhomes provided us with a quote to take out and refit a double glazed passenger window in our Niesmann & Bischoff by email super quick. Great communication from the office. We had the window taken out/in and were allowed to stay on-site overnight. Everyone is super friendly and we were allowed to bring our cat into the office while the job was taking place. The job needed a special tool which required a call out from a glazier but River Motorhome charged us exactly what was quoted. It seems a really happy team and I’d use them again. ~ Lisa G

Took their Elite cover out as soon as we purchase our Chausson 644. A year later we had our first habitation check. Hadn’t been to Warwick before so treated it as a break. River Motorhomes is a little way out from Stratford so they drove us in and picked us up. A nice touch 👍. Had some minor warranty issues which they have submitted to Chausson on our behalf and they have kept in touch all the way through the process. On our travels through the UK we passed River Motorhomes in Hereford. We were having problems with the heater settings in our relatively new RV. We approached Chris Perkins (Customer Relations) at his desk. Chris immediately left his work and accompanied us to our Rv and solved our problmen within minutes. A huge thanks to the team at River Motorhomes. I had a dead control panel in my Motorhome and having tried all the usual things to get it back on line, I finally had to admit defeat and call RMH this morning at 11am. After a quick 5 min chat with Matt he asked me to bring the van to him if possible (it was) and after a 5 hour round trip and almost 3 hours working on the van with just about everything imaginable pulled out, it turned out to be a faulty Boit Relay!. I don’t know what you call those 2 little black boxes in the relay but the one nearest the passenger side wasn’t operating hence why the batteries weren’t charging from EHU, solar or engine and why both lithiums were dead, hence control panel not working. Thank you to Steve and Bec for your hospitality and warm reception. A special thank you to technician Matt who was absolutely brilliant and thanks to him I can go to the Lake District tomorrow as planned..talk about going the extra mile, absolutely fantastic service and nice people too. ~ Dixie B

I recently had the misfortune to urgently need a replacement motorhome window for one of my rental fleet to avoid cancelling customer bookings. I can’t compliment Amy enough, for first of all understanding it’s importance to me, and secondly leaving no stone unturned to locate one and have it sent over to the North of Ireland by the required deadline. A fantastic range of motor homes and fantastic service, went above and beyond to meet our needs and accommodate our family with the right vehicle. We hired a CHAUSSON 720 - AUTOMATIC - 5 BERTH and enjoyed a fantastic week away in Cornwall. Definitely will be using their services again in the future. A1 service from start to finish. All the staff especially Amy, Bec and the technician were super helpful and professional, from initial contact, booking in my camper and subsequently the technician carrying out a thorough investigation, identifying the issue and repairing my knackered fridge all in the space of a couple of hours! Purchased our new Pilote Motorhome from the guys at Sutton Coldfield recently and what a great service they provided. After a teething issue with the bike rack which has now been resolved, we can leave a positive review. When viewing they weren’t pushy at all and very helpful. A personal shout out to Andy Taylor the technician, who drove to us in S. Wales to replace our bike rack and who has given us some valuable information on how to best mange our MH. Thank you to Steve and Amy at River Motorhomes for arranging the repairs to the heat damage to my motorhome that arose from a fire on the site where I store it. And also the water ingress repair following the habitation check. Amy Goldstone has been fantastic arranging for my Chausson to be booked in for it’s Habitation check, and advising of the Membership scheme that will also give a discount on the parking sensors and underseal that I want doing at the same time. Amy also advised I can have the cab serviced by the local Ford dealer and arranged that for the same day which saves me a lot of inconvenience as my local dealer is 25 Miles away.
